U.S. stocks plunged on Thursday fueled by a sell-off in the technology and biotechnology sectors, as investors viewed valuations have grown too lofty. At the close of U.S. trading, the Dow 30 fell 1.62%, the S&P 500 index fell 2.09%, while the Nasdaq fell 3.10%.

Leading Dow Jones Industrial Average performers included McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD), up 1.10%, AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), up 0.59%, and Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO), down 0.24%.
