Epic US Markets Update

The US stocks finished higher, wiping out most of the previous session’s losses, boosted by a batch of encouraging earnings reports and positive economic data from Europe.
Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.71% or 99.22 points at 13979.3. Nasdaq Composite rose 1.29% or 40.41 points at 3171.58. Standard & Poor’s 500 added 1.04% or 15.58 points at 1511.29.
