Asian markets were trading firm. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.19% or 4.52 points at 2,437.65.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.32% or 73.36 points at 23,221.89.
Japan’s Nikkei gained 2.98% or 328.78 points at 11,375.70.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,273.67.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.10% or 1.94 points at 1,940.12.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted added 0.48% or 37.71 points at 7,924.65.
