Rupee at 19-month low, drops 30 paise against US dollar

The domestic currency plunged to 19-month low of 68.54, down 30 paise, against the greenback on Wednesday amid trade war tensions and rising crude prices.

The rupee opened 19 paise lower at 68.43 against the dollar.
