ICICI Bank gains over 3%; Chanda Kocchar asked to go on leave

Shares of ICICI Bank were trading over 3% up in Friday’s morning trade after reports that CEO Chanda Kochhar has been asked to proceed on indefinite leave. The decision has been taken on the advice of a majority of the seven independent directors on the bank’s board, according to financial daily Mint.
