Rupee opens at 68.17 per dollar; slips 21 paise

The Indian rupee declined in the early trade on Monday. It has opened lower by 21 paise at 68.17 per dollar versus 67.96 Friday.


The dollar held steady after mixed US payrolls report. Yields on US 10-year notes rose from 2.33 percent to 2.42 percent on the data.
