Epic Research Update : Asian Market

Asian stocks extended gains on Thursday following the previous day’s rally as investors welcomed positive US data and mini-stimulus measures from China.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng jumped 0.26 percent or 58.21 points at 22,582.15. Japan’s Nikkei gained 0.60 percent or 89.76 points at 15,036.08.

Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.68 percent or 21.65 points at 3,214.43. South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.37 percent or 7.35 points at 2,004.60.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted shed 0.24 percent or 21.27 points at 8,884.18. China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.21 percent or 4.42 points at 2,054.57.
