ICICI Bank climbed 0.55 percent to USD 36.56 per ADR and HDFC Bank rose 1.35 percent to USD 34.57.

In the technology space

Infosys was down 0.21 percent to USD 56.88 while Wipro gained 0.96 percent to USD 12.61.

Among others

Tata Motors rose 0.72 percent to USD 30.57 and Dr Reddy’s Labs soared 0.17 percent to USD 40.96.
