Epic Update : Sensex rises for 3rd straight day

The BSE Sensex gained 181.58 points or 0.94 percent to close at 19577.39, led by capital goods, power, metals and auto stocks. The NSE Nifty rose 56.65 points or 0.97 percent to finish at 5898.85 after hitting an intraday high of 5904.35.
