LIC Housing Finance, the home-loan
arm of the country’s largest insurer, Life Insurance Corporation of India
(LIC), is planning to mop up around Rs 28,000 crore during the current fiscal
year. The third largest housing finance company in the country is also expected
to start a separate arm to cater the home loan market in North Eastern States
