ICICI Bank was up 0.98 percent at USD 36.12 and HDFC Bank rose 0.37 percent at USD 37.95.
In the other space
Tata Motors added 0.93 percent at USD 25.04 and Sterlite was up 0.53 percent at USD 5.72.
