Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 0.35% or 74.74 points at 21,297.13.

Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.55% or 80.19 points at 14,695.23.

Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.38% or 12.30 points at 3,220.63.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite shed 0.61% or 11.42 points at 1,876.07.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted fell 0.66% or 54.20 points at 8,204.75.
