Sugars & Chemicals has reported the operational data of Unit-I,
Unit-II and Unit-III of the company’s sugar factories for the month of
May 2013. The company’s Unit-I located at Varadarajnagar in Theni
district has crushed 72,521 MTs of cane in month of May compared to
73,119 MTs cane crushed in corresponding month previous year. The sugar
production stood at 6,342 MTs compared to 6,951 MTs while sales stood at
2,249 MTs compared to 3,086 MTs in the same month previous year. - See
