Epic Update : Nifty closes below 5600 ahead of expiry

The NSE Nifty fell 27.85 points to close at 5581.25 ahead of June expiry. The BSE Sensex lost more than 100 points in last half an hour of trade, but it trimmed losses at close. The index was down 77.03 points to finish at 18552.12.
