Epic Asian Markets Update

Asian markets were trading lower on Monday. China’s Shanghai Composite fell to a fresh 2013 low amid concerns about a severe strain in liquidity conditions. The Index plunged 44.86 points or 2.16 percent to 2,028.24.

Singapore’s Straits Times Index slipped 17.63 points or 0.56 percent to 3,106.82 and South Korea’s Kospi Composite Index dropped 12.64 points or 0.69 percent to 1,810.19.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng lost 290.17 points or 1.43 percent to 19,973.14 and Taiwan Weighted was down 18.39 points or 0.24 percent to 7,774.92.
