Tata Chemicals has signed a MoU with the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT, erstwhile UDCT) for creating an endowment chair – Tata Chemicals Darbari Seth Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering. This step is in line with the company’s leading role in recognising exceptional individuals from the chemical engineering teaching fraternity. Tata Chemicals will be donating Rs 3.5 crore as an endowment fund to help set up the chair professor’s position.
