Eicher Motors’ two-wheeler arm Royal Enfield has rolled out its first
vehicle from the new green-field facility at Oragadam, near Chennai.
This will be its first new facility in 60 years. The company aims to
manufacture 1.75 lakh units in a year against earlier plan of producing
1.50 lakh units a year. The new plant at Oragadam, near Chennai was
built in a record time of 11 months. Oragadam plant is spread over 50
