Bajaj Auto, the second-largest motorcycle manufacturer, would commence production of its first four-wheeler – the RE60 – in the current financial year. The company had unveiled the RE60 at the Delhi Auto Expo last year. Only after the government gave an in-principle approval for the creation of a new class of vehicles known as the quadricycles, the company took the decision of commencing the production.
