Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.25% or 5.67 points at 2,238.97.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 22,015.35.
Japan’s Nikkei gained 2.04% or 271.80 points at 13,588.28.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,296.03.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.24% or 4.49 points at 1,911.24.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted added 0.59% or 46.43 points at 7,977.23.
