Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.36% or 8.22 points at 2,322.39.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 22,798.98.
Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.74% or 197.69 points at 11,583.63.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,290.66.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was flat at 2,016.99.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was down 0.35% or 27.78 points at 7,959.11.
