Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.80% or 18.12 points at 2,287.25.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 0.64% or 150.49 points at 23,248.11.
Japan’s Nikkei gained 2.61% or 271.15 points at 10,666.33.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,223.26.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite shed 0.44% or 8.87 points at 2,010.54.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.29% or 22.57 points at 7,814.27.
