Asian
shares inched up on Wednesday, cautiously awaiting local corporate
earnings reports and the US Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision
due later in the session, while taking comfort from improving global
economic prospects.
The MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan inched up 0.2 percent to build on the previous day’s 1 percent rally which snapped a four-day losing streak.
