Asian markets were trading firm. China’s Shanghai Composite gained 1.30% or 29.71 points at 2,321.01. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.34% or 80.91 points at 23,661.34.
Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.32% or 34.97 points at 10,891.68.
Singapore’s Straits Times was up 0.21% or 6.74 points at 3,276.05.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.37% or 7.27 points at 1,939.42.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted added 0.50% or 35.28 points at 7,710.83.
