Japan’s Nikkei rose 1.57% or 152.45 points at 9,890.01.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,168.07.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was flat at 1,993.90.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted shed 0.64% or 49.31 points at 7,649.46.
