Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite gained 1.32% or 27.21 points at 2,088.68.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.36% or 81.17 points at 22,526.75.
Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.31% or 29.81 points at 9,712.92.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,155.27.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite slipped 0.68% or 13.61 points at 1,989.16.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was down 0.76% or 58.61 points at 7,698.48.
